Wait times at Starbucks as long as 30 minutes
Unless it's a necessity like a doctor's appointment, a school graduation ceremony, etc., I have never been one to wait in line for hours at-a-time much less camp outside a store the day/night b4 to be the first one inside when the store first opens where I recall an incident that took place on Black Friday back in the 1980's where people literally got trampled while hurrying inside a toy store when it first opened to purchase cabbage patch kids dolls. Needless to say, I was also never one to stand in line for hours at-a-time to purchase tickets for a concert or any other social event much less wait in line inside a store or outside a drive-up window like that at Starbucks. This noted, I recently came across an online article with a photo and caption beneath that read 'Starbucks customers wait times have gotten really long' that attracted my attention. I then began to think why someone would elect to waste valuable time (up to 30 minutes) to purchase an overpriced cup of coffee, espresso, or espresso-based coffee beverage when they can make their own at home/work saving significant time and money in the process. Unless I am missing something, the reality whereby individuals choose to waste valuable time/money out of habit and continue to make poor decisions, makes absolutely 'No Sense' whatsoever!
